摘要
A LaMnO 3 -based hydrogel evaporator with interfacial evaporation and photocatalytic degradation capabilities was fabricated. • The evaporator possesses a high porosity of 97.64%, while still demonstrating excellent mechanical properties. • The evaporator achieves 95.89% efficiency and 2.585 kg m −2 h −1 evaporation rate, with excellent salt resistance. Solar-driven interfacial evaporation technology is regarded as an economical and sustainable novel desalination solution due to its low energy consumption, high photothermal conversion efficiency, and environmentally friendly characteristics. However, existing solar evaporation systems still face challenges such as limited evaporation flux, single functionality, and insufficient long-term salt resistance when dealing with complex water qualities. Here, we propose an innovative dual-functional evaporator by embedding LaMnO 3 (LMO) nanofibers with broad-spectrum light absorption and high specific surface area into a porous hydrogel skeleton, successfully constructing an LMO-based composite porous hydrogel (LMO-PH-3) evaporator. The evaporator exhibits a high porosity of 97.64%, achieving an evaporation rate of 2.585 kg m −2 h −1 and a photothermal conversion efficiency of 95.89% under 1-sun illumination. Even in a high-salinity environment of 25 wt%, its evaporation rate remains at 2.045 kg m −2 h −1 , demonstrating excellent salt resistance. Furthermore, the LMO-PH-3 evaporator achieved a degradation rate of 82.7% for methylene blue, validating its efficient wastewater purification capability. The LMO-PH-3 bifunctional evaporator developed in this study through material design and structural regulation realizes highly efficient synergy between photothermal evaporation and photocatalytic degradation, providing a novel strategy for constructing solar-driven integrated evaporation-purification systems.
