摘要
Microwave transmission-infrared stealth compatible materials are critical for radomes and strategic vehicles, but existing solutions fail to balance performance well. MXene shows promise for dual-band applications, yet its continuous films suffer from high radar reflectivity and low transmittance. Herein, MXene-patterned flexible frequency selective surface (FSS) structures were fabricated via screen printing, with systematic control of the parameters of arrays to tailor electromagnetic properties, enabled by tailoring the equivalent inductor-capacitor circuit of the FSS to achieve impedance matching in the radar band. As gap width of arrays increases from 120 to 360 μm, radar transmittance reaches 78% (over 10⁴ higher than that of continuous MXene films) and the reflectivity is significantly reduced from 90% to 16%, while maintaining approximately 80% infrared reflectivity (8∼14 μm, corresponding to an emissivity of 0.2) is retained. This achieves efficient radar-infrared dual-band compatibility, with radar transmittance differing by only approximately 1.01 dB from that of MXene-free structures. The low-cost method provides a feasible pathway for high-performance regulation of dual-band devices, advancing multispectral functional materials and meeting demands in aerospace, stealth protection, and next-gen communications.
