摘要
Developing stable and efficient non-precious metal electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is crucial for advancing water electrolysis and sustainable energy systems. Herein, we exploit a trimetallic MoNiFe metal-organic framework (MOF) with high surface area, porosity, synergistic active sites derived from metallic components, and charge-tunable organic ligands. Via a solvothermal synthesis followed by gas-phase phosphorization, the MoNiFe-MOF/NF precursor is transformed into Mo–NiFeP@NC/NF. Benefiting from structural and compositional advantages, Mo–NiFeP@NC/NF exhibits superior OER activity and stability in alkaline media compared to commercial RuO 2 /NF. The catalyst achieves current densities of 50 and 100 mA cm −2 at low overpotentials of 271 and 303 mV, respectively, along with a reduced Tafel slope, indicating favorable reaction kinetics. Moreover, the electrode shows negligible activity degradation after continuous operation at 50 mA cm −2 for 61 h. This work provides a new insight into the rational construction of efficient and stable non-precious metal OER catalysts based on metal doping and MOF-derived strategies.
