摘要
Protective textiles with advanced stimuli-responsive capabilities provided an all-around protection for the human body in a lightweight and flexible way, significantly endowing the highly intelligent modern society with unlimited potential in transforming lifestyles. However, achieving both perceptual capabilities and efficient protective performance remains a great challenge. Here, drawing inspiration from the classical armor shell of pangolin, a multiple interfacial crosslinking-induced strategy is presented to manufacture a coaxial hierarchical structure composite yarn. The core principle of this design involves constructing a hierarchical energy dissipated macro-/micro-/nano overlapped plate scale structure based on multiple interfacial cross-linking valence bonds between mica microplate fillers and GA-modified polyborosiloxane (GPBS) fillers (GPBS@TiO 2 -mica) and fiber substrates, which endows the composite yarn with excellent mechanical performances (strength of 193.7 MPa, toughness of 235.09 MJ m −3 ). The resulting fabric exhibits superior impact resistance (efficiency>74 %), excellent ballistic energy absorption capacity (7.94 kJ m −1 ), excellent structural stability, good pressure stimulus sensitivity (1.69 V kPa −1 ), and shows the application potential in monitoring human activities and health. This study provides a promising strategy for the future development of advanced wearable smart textiles with exceptional impact resistance.
