摘要
Piezoelectric catalysis has emerged as a promising strategy for efficient and sustainable environmental remediation. Here, FeSe 2 /MoSe 2 heterojunction nanocomposites are developed with significantly enhanced piezoelectric catalytic performance. The formation of a Z-scheme FeSe 2 /MoSe 2 heterojunction markedly boosts the degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB), enabling complete removal within 8 min. The corresponding kinetic rate constant reaches 148.5 L·mg⁻¹·min⁻¹, which is 14,850- and 565-fold higher than those of pristine FeSe 2 and MoSe 2 , respectively. This remarkable improvement arises from the synergistic coupling of the heterointerface and strain-induced piezoelectric polarization, which generates an internal electric field that promotes efficient charge separation, suppresses carrier recombination, and preserves strong redox activity. This work highlights the potential of piezoelectric heterostructures as a general strategy for mechanically driven catalytic processes.
