摘要

Perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) possess outstanding optoelectronic properties, yet their practical applications are hindered by intrinsic instability. Although water-induced PbBrOH coatings can enhance PQDs stability, the hydration process remains difficult to control. Excessive water can readily cause PQDs quenching, whereas insufficient water may result in incomplete or non-uniform PbBrOH formation. Here, MAF-6, a metal-organic framework composed of Zn 2+ metal nodes and 2-methylimidazole ligands, is employed to induce the formation of PbBrOH without the direct introduction of water, and the underlying mechanism is systematically elucidated through combined experimental and theoretical analyses. The results revealed that Zn 2+ in MAF-6 coordinates with Br - from PbBr 2 while the labile N-Zn bonds in the imidazole ring are cleaved by Br - , facilitating Pb-O bond formation and the subsequent transformation of PbBr 2 into PbBrOH. The strategy is further extended to diverse MOFs for inducing PbX 2 phase transitions. This work provides a fundamental understanding of the role of MOFs in phase transitions and opens new pathways for designing highly stable PQDs materials.
