摘要
Supported boron oxide catalysts show great potential in propane oxidative dehydrogenation yet suffer severe hydrolytic deactivation at high temperatures. Here, an interfacial bond gradient strategy is proposed to stabilize boron-based catalysts. CeO 2 anchored on γ-Al 2 O 3 modulates local bonding and firmly immobilizes active boron species. The catalyst achieves over 40% propane conversion, 80% olefin selectivity and superior stability within 200 h. Formed B-O-Ce interfaces trigger oriented electron transfer and enhance surface hydrophobicity, raising hydrolysis activation energy and suppressing active site loss. This interfacial engineering offers a universal route to design robust catalysts for alkane transformation.
