摘要
High-entropy Metal-Organic Frameworks (HE-MOFs) have garnered considerable attention in the fields of gas adsorption and catalysis owing to their prominent multimetal synergistic effects. However, their large-scale fabrication remains a formidable challenge. In this study, a hierarchically porous HE-MOF-74 material incorporating Al, Mg, Zn, Ni, and Co was successfully synthesized via a combined strategy of mechanochemical ball milling and solvothermal treatment. This approach features a solvent-free process and exhibits great potential for industrial scale-up. Structural characterizations confirm that the as-synthesized material possesses a typical MOF-74 crystal structure, homogeneous distribution of the five metal elements, and distinct hierarchical porosity, with a Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area of 565 m 2 ·g −1 . Gas adsorption measurements reveal that the material achieves a CO 2 uptake of 52.4 cm 3 ·g −1 at 298.15 K and an excellent CO 2 /N 2 selectivity with a maximum value of 107.35. Such superior performance is attributed to the synergistic effects of multiple metal components and the enhanced contribution of exposed open metal sites. This work provides a novel and feasible strategy for the controllable synthesis and scalable production of hierarchically porous HE-MOFs.
