摘要
Copper metal is prone to corrosion in aggressive environments, which poses a significant challenge to the long-term reliability. Herein, we report a self-healing slippery anticorrosion coating constructed on copper substrate. First, ZIF-8 with an ordered porous architecture was grown in situ by electrodeposition and used as a micro/nanoscale lubricant reservoir. ZIF-8 film was subsequently modified with thiol molecules to lower the surface energy for realizing superhydrophobicity. Finally, dimethyl silicone oil was infused into the thiolated ZIF-8 framework to form a ZIF-8-based slippery liquid-infused porous surface (SLIPS). Electrochemical measurements reveal that |Z| 0.01 Hz is 4.01 × 10 8 Ω·cm 2 . After being immersed in NaCl solution for 336 h, the SLIPS preserves |Z| 0.01 Hz close to 10 7 Ω·cm 2 . Even after pronounced mechanical scratching, |Z| 0.01Hz still remains high value. Anti-icing tests further revealed a low ice-adhesion strength of 113 ± 2 kPa, nearly one-sixth that of untreated copper (628 ± 7 kPa). These results demonstrate that the ZIF-8-based SLIPS provides high corrosion resistance, self-healing capability, and anti-icing performance, offering a robust barrier for long-term protection of copper-based materials in harsh corrosive environments.
