Synthesis of the Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework-8 Film on Diverse Substrates in 5 min

A zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 film is controllably synthesized on various substrates in 5 min through integrating zinc electrodeposition and microwave-solvothermal treatment first, representing the cheapest and fastest route until now. This rapid and cheap strategy opens up a new avenue for the rational design and synthesis of metal–organic framework films.
