摘要
A high-entropy oxide strategy was adopted to develop high-performance, low-iridium dimensionally stable anodes (DSAs) for the acidic oxygen evolution reaction (OER). A novel IrTaWSnCeOₓ coating was fabricated via modified thermal decomposition. Despite an ultralow Ir loading of only 0.4 mg cm −2 , the electrode achieved an overpotential of 286 mV at 10 mA cm −2 and a Tafel slope of 60.5 mV dec −1 , while demonstrating stable operation for over 400 h. This performance significantly outperforms conventional IrO₂–Ta₂O₅ anodes. The high-entropy strategy offers an effective approach to developing durable, low-iridium DSAs.
