摘要
Efficient CO 2 capture remains challenging due to limited adsorption capacity and slow kinetics of conventional materials. Herein, we report a strong–weak acid modulation strategy for the in situ growth mesoporous UiO-66-F 4 within the aligned carbonized wood channels, yielding a hierarchical MOF–carbon composite denoted as meso-UiO-66-F 4 @CP. Dual-acid regulation enables highly uniform and controlled MOF growth under environmentally friendly aqueous conditions, avoiding the use of toxic organic solvents and ensuring a sustainable synthesis route. This composite effectively combines the macroporous framework of carbonized wood with the intrinsic micropores and mesopores of UiO-66-F 4 , establishing a hierarchical pore network that significantly enhances CO 2 diffusion, mass transport, and overall adsorption efficiency. Furthermore, the introduction of fluorinated linkers strengthens dipole–quadrupole interactions, generating abundant high-affinity adsorption sites specifically tailored for CO 2 molecules. Under the present experimental conditions, meso-UiO-66-F 4 @CP exhibits a CO 2 uptake of 38 cm 3 g⁻ 1 (approximately 1.70 mmol g⁻ 1 ) at 298 K and 1 bar, together with a measured adsorption rate of 0.085 mmol g⁻ 1 min⁻ 1 . This work provides a sustainable strategy for constructing hierarchical MOF–carbon composites with tailored pore structures and surface chemistry for CO 2 capture applications.
