摘要
Herein, thioether cyclodextrin-incorporated triazine-based porous organic polymer (S-CD-TPOP) featuring multifunctional nature was prepared for iodine vapor uptake and adsorption of organic micropollutants (OMPs) and Hg 2+ from water. Polycondensation between specially designed per-6-(4-formylbenzylthio)-β-cyclodextrin (FB-S-CD) and 1,4-bis(2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine)benzene (BDTAB) affords the S-CD-TPOP containing CD cavities, thioether, and triazine units as well as high nitrogen content. S-CD-TPOP exhibits a high surface area of 467.42 m 2 /g with 28.56% nitrogen and 2.16% sulfur contents. S-CD-TPOP shows iodine vapor uptake of 1.70 g/g, where charge transfer plays a dominant role. Moreover, S-CD-TPOP displays quick adsorption kinetics and excellent removal efficiencies for phenols with a maximum adsorption capacity ( q m ) of 181.16 mg/g for bisphenol A (BPA). Host–guest and hydrophobic interactions serve as the main mechanisms for the adsorption of OMPs onto S-CD-TPOP. Additionally, S-CD-TPOP demonstrates rapid Hg 2+ adsorption kinetics with a q m value of 45.25 mg/g, primarily driven by coordination between the −S– group and Hg 2+ . Furthermore, S-CD-TPOP exhibits great application potential for simultaneously removing low concentrations BPA and Hg 2+ from river water. S-CD-TPOP also exhibits excellent reusability and is a promising and versatile adsorbent for removing diverse environmental pollutants.
