摘要
MoS 2 and LDH were successfully integrated into a two-dimensional/two-dimensional (2D/2D) structure. • PMA with electron-capturing capability was successfully intercalated into the two-dimensional nanosheet layers. • 10% LDH-PMA/MoS 2 shows superior light harvesting capacity, 6.45-fold higher than ZnAl-LDH. Addressing urgent environmental remediation and sustainable energy needs, this study enhances photocatalytic H 2 evolution via rational design of an efficient composite catalyst. In-situ synthesis controllably grew MoS 2 onto LDH-PMA surface, constructing ZnAl-PMA/MoS 2 photocatalytic system. Photocatalytic tests show 10% MoS 2 -loaded composite exhibits optimal light harvesting, achieving 4498.59 μmol g −1 h −1 H 2 evolution, 6.45 times pristine ZnAl-LDH and 3.1 times LDH-PMA, and retaining 3890 μmol g −1 h −1 after six cycles (24 h total), confirming excellent stability. This enhanced performance arises from 2D/2D heterostructure and intercalated PMA's electron trapping capability, facilitating photogenerated carrier separation, suppressing recombination, and boosting.
