摘要
Bi 24 O 31 Br 10 /Bi 2 WO 6 photocatalysts are successfully synthesized. • The oxygen vacancies and the Z-scheme heterojunction were formed between Bi 24 O 31 Br 10 and Bi 2 WO 6 . • The heterojunction achieves a CO production rate 3.17 and 2.78 times higher than those of pure Bi 24 O 31 Br 10 and Bi 2 WO 6 , respectively, with nearly 100% CO selectivity. Engineering sophisticated photocatalytic materials remains a critical imperative for CO 2 reduction. A novel Z-scheme Bi 24 O 31 Br 10 /Bi 2 WO 6 was synthesized in this work. Its photocatalytic performance and underlying mechanism of CO 2 photoreduction were systematically investigated. The photocatalytic evaluation demonstrates that BOB/BWO-25 delivers the most outstanding CO 2 reduction performance under atmospheric conditions without sacrificial reagents. Specifically, the catalyst CO evolution rate is 22.66 μmol g −1 h −1 , representing enhancements about 3.17-fold compared with pure Bi 24 O 31 Br 10 and 2.78-fold compared with pure Bi 2 WO 6 . Moreover, the selectivity toward CO reaches 100%. Oxygen vacancies and Z-scheme heterojunction synergistic effect can enhance photocatalytic, which facilitates charge separation and preserves reduction capability. This study provides an effective strategy for designing and fabricating Bi 2 WO 6 -based Z-scheme photocatalysts and enhancing CO 2 photoreduction efficiency.
