摘要

2D MXene@ZIF is synthesized by inducing nucleation and interlayer confinement growth. • Nano-heterostructure suppresses restacking and enables interlayer shear lubrication. • ZIF-L component increases the crosslinking density and effective corrosion inhibition. • PMX@ZIF/EP coating showed rising OCP, stable friction and low wear in tribocorrosion. To enhance the tribocorrosion resistance of epoxy (EP) coatings, a layered MXene@ZIF heterostructure was synthesized and subsequently oriented into a parallel-aligned polyethylenimine-modified MXene@ZIF composite coating (PMX@ZIF/EP) on an AA2024 substrate via electric field-induced alignment. During heterostructure synthesis, the pre-anchoring of 2-methylimidazole on the Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene surface induced high-density nucleation and confined interlayer growth of ZIF-L nanosheets, effectively suppressing MXene restacking while preserving interlayer shear lubrication. In the dry sliding test, PMX@ZIF/EP exhibited a wear rate of 3.33 × 10 −5 mm 3 ·N −1 ·m −1 , approximately 75% lower than that of pure EP. Furthermore, the ZIF-L component increased the crosslinking density of the epoxy matrix and contributed to corrosion inhibition. After 4 weeks of electrochemical testing, PMX@ZIF/EP maintained the highest |Z| 0.01 Hz value of 1.59 × 10 10 Ω·cm 2 , demonstrating excellent long-term protective performance. Under coupled tribocorrosion conditions, the coating exhibited a progressive positive shift in open-circuit potential. Through the in situ formation of a dense, parallel-aligned tribofilm, the composite coating stabilized the friction coefficient at 0.28 and reduced the wear rate to 2.78 × 10 −5 mm 3 ·N −1 ·m −1 . This synergistic integration of active-passive protection and interlayer shear lubrication provides an effective strategy for extending the service life of aluminum alloys in severe environments.
