MEM培养基（Minimum Essential Medium）也称最低必需培养基、最小基本培养基或低限量Eagle培养基，由Harry Eagle在Eagle基本培养基（BEM）的基础上发展而来的，是一种最基本、适用范围最广的培养基，是动物细胞培养中最常用的培养基之一。MEM培养基仅含有12种必需氨基酸、谷氨酰胺和8种维生素，成分简单，可用于各种悬浮和贴壁的哺乳动物细胞，包括HeLa、BHK-21、293、HEP-2、HT-1080、MCF-7、成纤维细胞和原代大鼠星形胶质细胞。
本产品含有多类细胞培养所需的氨基酸、维生素、无机盐等多种成分；但不含蛋白质、脂类或任何生长因子；故此产品需搭配血清或无血清添加物使用。

MEM (Minimum Essential Medium), also known as minimal essential medium or low‑limit Eagle medium, was developed by Harry Eagle from Eagle's basal medium (BEM). It is one of the most basic and broadly applicable media, and is among the most commonly used media in animal cell culture. MEM contains only 12 essential amino acids, glutamine, and 8 vitamins, with a simple composition. It can be used for various suspension and adherent mammalian cells, including HeLa, BHK‑21, 293, HEP‑2, HT‑1080, MCF‑7, fibroblasts, and primary rat astrocytes.
This product contains multiple components required for cell culture, including amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, etc.; however, it contains no proteins, lipids, or any growth factors. Therefore, this product must be used with serum or serum‑free supplements.

① This product has been sterilized by filtration. Aseptic techniques must be observed during handling to prevent contamination.
② To maintain optimal performance, avoid freeze‑thaw cycles.
