线粒体呼吸链复合体Ⅲ（EC 1.10.2.2，CoQ-细胞色素C还原酶）是呼吸电子传递链主路与支路的共有成分，将还原型CoQ的氢传递给细胞色素C生成还原型细胞色素C。还原型细胞色素C在550 nm处有特征吸收峰，通过测定550 nm处吸光度增加速率即可反映复合体Ⅲ酶活性。
Mitochondrial respiratory chain complex Ⅲ (EC 1.10.2.2, CoQ‑cytochrome c reductase) is a common component of both the main and branch pathways of the respiratory electron transport chain. It transfers hydrogen from reduced CoQ to cytochrome c, generating reduced cytochrome c. Reduced cytochrome c exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 550 nm. Therefore, the activity of complex Ⅲ can be determined by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at 550 nm.
