Magnesium Sulfate has the molecular formula MgSO₄ and a molecular weight of 120.39. It commonly exists as the heptahydrate MgSO₄·7H₂O and has a wide range of applications in medicine, industry, feed and other fields. This product is a 1.0 mol/L sterile magnesium sulfate solution, prepared with magnesium sulfate and deionized water and autoclaved. It can be directly used as a magnesium ion stock solution. Mg²⁺ acts as an essential cofactor for many enzymes and is widely applied in molecular biology and microbiology experiments. This reagent is for research use only and is not intended for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
