Stability
1. NO₂-UiO-66 is stable in aqueous solution. Compared with other UiO-66 series materials, NO₂-UiO-66 is resistant to strong alkaline conditions (pH = 13).
2. It possesses high thermal stability, with thermal decomposition temperature above 400 °C.
Storage and Activation Protocol
1. Store in a dry and sealed container at ambient or low temperature.
2. Activation: vacuum oven treatment at 150 °C for 3 hours prior to use is recommended.
Applications
1. Gas storage and adsorption materials
2. The rigid framework of UiO-66 renders it an excellent catalyst support.
