SF-30 is a proprietary formulated product based entirely on hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs). Its components fully comply with the recommended 141b substitute list issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and all main components are included in the recommended list.
SF-30 is a safe, nonflammable and environmentally friendly cleaning agent. Its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero, and its global warming potential (GWP) is less than 10. It can be used in precision cleaning applications such as spacecraft, automotive precision parts, electronic products, optical products and other demanding occasions.
SF-30 has strong cleaning capability with a KB value of 20, making it an ideal product to replace traditional cleaning agents such as trichloroethylene (TCE), n-propyl bromide (nPB), benzene, polychloroethylene, methyl chloride and other strong solvents, where strong cleaning capability is often required. SF-30 can also be used to replace low-to-medium strength solvents such as HCFC-225, HCFC-141b, HFEs, PFCs, CFCs and aqueous cleaners.

Performance Advantages
Strong cleaning capability
Moderate boiling point, fast drying
Strong carrying capacity for contaminants
Azeotropic-type product; composition does not change during use, so no maintenance is required
No surfactants, so no rinsing is needed after cleaning
Nonflammable
Low odor, low toxicity
Good environmental profile: GWP < 10, compliant with EU Regulation 517/2014
Applications
Precision cleaning, vapor cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, cold cleaning, removal of oil, grease and silicone, aviation solvents, particulate removal, heat transfer fluids, heat pipe working fluids and other cleaning processes. SF-30 has a broad cleaning capability and is very suitable for precision cleaning, vapor cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning. Table 2 lists some contaminants suitable for SF-30 cleaning.

Material Compatibility
Opteon™ SF-30 is highly compatible with many metal materials, such as stainless steel, steel, copper, aluminum, etc. SF-30 is also compatible with most plastics and elastomers; Table 3 lists materials with good compatibility. Because the formulations of each plastic and elastomer differ, specific materials should be tested before use to confirm compatibility.
