磷脂酶C（PLC，EC 3.1.4.3）是一种水解甘油磷酸酯C3位点甘油磷酸酯键的脂类水解酶，广泛存在于微生物及动植物的组织和细胞中，在细胞代谢、细胞传递、生长发育等方面具有重要作用。 磷脂酶C催化水解O-(4-硝基苯基)胆碱(NPPC)产生对硝基苯酚(PNP)，该产物在405nm处有最大吸收峰。通过检测PNP在405nm下的增加速率，即可得到PLC酶活性大小。
Phospholipase C (PLC, EC 3.1.4.3) is a lipid hydrolase that specifically hydrolyzes the glycerophosphoester bond at the C3 position of glycerophospholipids. It is widely distributed in microorganisms as well as in animal and plant tissues and cells, playing crucial roles in cellular metabolism, signal transduction, growth, and development. Phospholipase C catalyzes the hydrolysis of O-(4-nitrophenyl)choline (NPPC) to produce p-nitrophenol (PNP), which exhibits a maximum absorption peak at 405 nm. PLC enzyme activity can be determined by measuring the increase rate of PNP at 405 nm.
