Ⅳ级 (过度)：呼吸停止，易死亡。

Tricaine is a well‑recognized safe and the most commonly‑used anesthetic in zebrafish research. The anesthetic depth can be easily controlled by concentration and exposure time. Fish exhibit a high survival rate after recovery, with minimal impacts on subsequent experiments.

Instructions for Use:
1. Add 1 mL of this anesthetic into 200 mL of double‑distilled water and mix thoroughly.

3. Place the fish to be anesthetized into the solution.
4. Closely monitor fish status and select the desired anesthetic stage according to your experimental requirements.
Anesthesia Staging Criteria:
Stage I (Mild anesthesia): Reduced swimming activity; responsive to tactile stimulation.
Stage II (Moderate anesthesia): Lateral recumbency with regular opercular movement; suitable for surgical procedures.
Stage III (Deep anesthesia): Weak respiration with only slight caudal peduncle movement.
Stage IV (Over‑anesthesia): Cessation of respiration; high risk of death.
