GZMK is a part of a group of related serine proteases from the cytoplasmic granules of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Cytolytic T lymphocytes and natural killer cells have the outstanding ability to bind, recognize and lyse specific target cells. They defend their host by lysing cells bearing on their surface 'nonself' antigens, usually peptides or proteins resulting from infection by intracellular pathogens.
Recombinant Human Granzyme K Protein (rp188404) - SDS-PAGE 3 μg/lane of Recombinant Human Granzyme K Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing a band at 29.8 & 55.5 kDa under reducing conditions and 29.8 & 54.3 kDa under non-reducing conditions. Granzyme K is capable of oligomerizing into dimers and higher-order forms (PMID: 34017346).
