LumiDye™ PE-AF647 is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines phycoerythrin (PE) and AF647. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, AF647. PE-AF647 is a popular color used in flow cytometry. Its primary absorption peak is at 565 nm with emission peak at~675 nm. The filter sets of 660/20 nm is recommended for this tandem color. PE-AF647 is an alternative to PE-Cy5.
