锰过氧化物酶（EC1.11.1.13）是一种含亚铁血红素的过氧化物酶，主要存在于担子菌中，属于木质素降解酶系，能有效的降解木质素及废水和土壤中比较难降解的氯化物，叠氮化合物、DTT，多环芳烃等。 测定原理：锰过氧化物酶在Mn²⁺存在的条件下，将愈创木酚氧化为四邻甲氧基连酚，在465nm有特征吸收峰。
Manganese Peroxidase (EC 1.11.1.13) is a heme-containing peroxidase primarily found in Basidiomycetes. As part of the lignin-degrading enzyme system, it efficiently degrades lignin as well as recalcitrant compounds in wastewater and soil, such as chlorinated compounds, azides, DTT, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Assay Principle: In the presence of Mn²⁺, Manganese Peroxidase oxidizes guaiacol to tetra-guaiacol, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 465 nm.
