概述
本品为白色、高纯度并具有规定的孔容、比表面积和孔隙分布及一定粒度分布的试剂硅胶。不含石膏和有机黏合剂的薄层色谱固定相。物理性质为白色粉末，具有不同微空结构和表面积。能吸收空气中的水分。溶于氢氟酸和热碱溶液，不溶于水和其他无机酸。其吸附性能是由表面的硅醇基所引起的，可与极性化合物等形成氢键而吸附。它可以作吸附色谱的固定相，含水后则可作为分配色谱的固定相。 薄层层析硅胶被广泛应用于各种天然合成物质的分析和分离。大量用在医药、农药、中草药、有机化工产品、石油化工产品以及粮食、食品的主要成分或微量杂质的定性与定量分析和某些物质的提纯制备。
