维生素E（Vitamin E）是一种脂溶性维生素，其水解产物为生育酚，是生物体中最主要的抗氧化剂之一，能阻止不饱和脂肪酸收到过氧化作用的损伤，维持不饱和脂肪酸细胞膜的完整性和正常功能，具有延缓衰老、预防溶血性贫血作用，在医药、化妆品、保健品、食品行业具有较高的应用价值。 测定原理：VE还原Fe³⁺为Fe²⁺，Fe²⁺与1,10-菲罗啉产生有色络合物，在530nm有特征吸收峰。
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, with its hydrolyzed product being tocopherol. It serves as one of the most important antioxidants in living organisms, protecting unsaturated fatty acids from oxidative damage and maintaining the integrity and normal function of cell membranes containing these fatty acids. Vitamin E helps delay aging, prevent hemolytic anemia, and holds significant application value in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, health supplements, and food industries. Assay Principle: Vitamin E reduces Fe³⁺ to Fe²⁺. Fe²⁺ then forms a colored complex with 1,10-phenanthroline, which exhibits a characteristic absorption peak at 530 nm.
