Magnetized pitaya peel bio-based carbon aerogel (MCA) was prepared by hydrothermal and freeze-drying methods; then, magnetized bio-based carbon aerogel (MCKEA) was obtained by the surface functionalization of MCA with 3-amino-1, 2-propylene glycol and KH-550. MCA and MCKEA were characterized by SEM, FT-IR, and XRD. The adsorption properties of MCA and MCKEA for dyes were investigated. It showed that the adsorption capacity of MCKEA for dyes was greater than that of MCA, especially for acid chromium blue K. The adsorption of acid chromium blue K by MCKEA conforms to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption model. The reusability experimental results showed that MCKEA can be reused for nine times. So MCKEA is a kind of adsorbent with high efficiency, high reusability, and low cost, which has broad application prospect. Graphical Abstract

Ag nanoparticles functionalized with poly-acid chrome blue K and graphene (Ag-poly-ACBK@Gr) were successfully fabricated on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode using layer-by-layer electropolymerization. The surface structure of the synthesized modified glassy carbon electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The electrochemical behaviours of diclofenac sodium (DS) at the Ag-poly-ACBK@Gr-modified electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. It was found that the prepared sensor exhibited a cathodic peak at 0.78 V with higher peak current response compared to the related modified electrodes. Under optimal conditions, the sensor for the determination of DS exhibits a good linear relationship between the peak current and DS concentration in the range from 0.1 to 40 μM, and the equation is Ip (μA) = 7.23 × 10 3 c (μM) + 3.46 × 10 -2 (R = 0.9955) with the estimated limit of detection of 34.2 nM (S/N = 3). The Ag-poly-ACBK@Gr-modified glassy carbon electrode with high sensitivity and excellent stability and selectivity was successfully applied to detect DS in real drugs and human urine at the recoveries ranging from 99.60 to 101.84%.

In this paper, an electrochemical sensor based on depositing acid chrome blue K on the surface of glassy carbon electrode was developed for detection of nitrofurazone. The obtained poly-ACBK film was characterised by atomic force microscope. The experimental results indicated that the Poly-ACBK/GCE showed good electrocatalytic activity to the redox reactions of nitrofurazone by differential pulse voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry in Britton-Robinson buffer solution, and the different redox peak currents were observed in different pH ranges (2.0–6.0, 7.0–12.0). Base on these, electrochemical reaction mechanism of nitrofurazone was presented in different pH ranges. Under the optimal conditions, a linear relationship between the reduction peak currents and concentrations for nitrofurazone is figured out in the range of 0.75‒192 μM, with detection limits of 0.25 µM (S/N = 3). This sensor produced satisfactory reproducibility and stability and was successfully applied to monitor of nitrofurazone in real samples (nasal drops).
