生化机理
人体白蛋白是一种未糖基化的球状血清蛋白，占血浆或血清蛋白总量的一半以上。它具有维持 COP（细胞渗透压）的功能。它能与胆红素、长链脂肪酸和血红蛋白等疏水性有机阴离子以及镁和钙等阳离子结合。它还是类固醇、维生素 D 和甲状腺素的二级或三级载体。它参与前列腺素的分解以及某些内源性物质（如脂质和二十酸）的代谢。它可作为血浆缓冲剂，清除氧自由基，从而减轻某些炎症性疾病的病理影响。白蛋白编码基因突变会导致家族性白蛋白血症性甲亢。
