Plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation. Up-regulates the expression of FABP5, MYC and cyclins A and E (By similarity).

Recombinant EpCAM/CD326 Antibody (Ab219614) - Flow Cytometry Multicolor flow cytometric analysis of EpCAM/CD326 expression on live mouse thymocytes. C57BL/6 mouse thymocytes were stained with CD8 alpha Rat mAb (FITC) (Ab190208), CD4 Rat mAb (AF647) (Ab223916) and either Rat IgG Isotype Control Antibody (Biotin) (Ab180310; Left panel) or Recombinant EpCAM/CD326 Antibody (Ab219614; Right panel) conjugated with biotin at 0.2 μg/mL for 1 hour at 4°C and detected with SA-PE (rp156150). A bivariate pseudocolor density plot showing the correlated expression of CD326 (EpCAM) expression (or Isotype control staining) was derived from CD8 alpha - gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of viable thymocytes.
