概述
羧甲基纤维素 (Carboxymethyl Cellulose, CMC)属阴离子型纤维素类物质，是一种粘稠剂，被称为工业味精，其粘性会因为温度的变化而变化。CAS号为9000-11-7，分子量为240.21。CMC易溶于水形成具有一定粘度的透明溶液，具有增稠性、晨浮性、乳化性、稳定性等特点。
羧甲基纤维素溶液 (4%)经高压灭菌处理，可加入少量于悬浮培养基中或按具体实验要求，增加培养基粘稠度。该试剂仅用于科研领域，不适用于临床诊断或其他用途。

Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is an anionic cellulose-based substance and a thickener, often referred to as industrial monosodium glutamate. Its viscosity varies with temperature changes. It has a CAS number of 9000-11-7 and a molecular weight of 240.21. CMC is readily soluble in water, forming a transparent solution with a certain viscosity, and it exhibits properties such as thickening, suspending, emulsifying and stabilizing effects.
This Carboxymethyl Cellulose Solution (4%) is processed by autoclaving sterilization. A small amount can be added to suspension culture media or used according to specific experimental requirements to increase the viscosity of the culture media. This reagent is for research use only (RUO) and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or any other purposes.

Operate in accordance with specific experimental requirements and dilute the solution to an appropriate concentration before use.

1. Carboxylmethyl Cellulose Solution (4%) is sterile, please ensure sterile operation.
