Fructose-6-phosphate (F6P) is an intermediate product in the glycolysis and gluconeogenesis pathways and is widely present in animals, plants, and microorganisms. This kit provides a simple, sensitive, and rapid assay method: Fructose-6-phosphate (F6P) is converted under the sequential action of phosphoglucose isomerase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, reducing NADP⁺ to NADPH. By measuring the increase in NADPH at 340 nm, the F6P content in the sample can be calculated.
