摘要
In the present study, Li 2 O-B 2 O 3 -SiO 2 (LBS) glass served as a low-melting-point flux to investigate the sintering behavior at reduced temperatures and microwave dielectric performance of Li 4 SrCaSi 1.98 Sn 0.02 O 8 ceramics. X-ray diffraction (XRD) along with Raman spectra examinations verified that the LSCS-S structure remained intact upon LBS glass addition and did not result in the formation of new phases. SEM images show that the addition of LBS enables the ceramic to maintain high sintering density even at 850 °C, while reducing its sintering temperature and maintaining an elevated quality factor ( Q × f ). When 1.0 wt% LBS glass is added, at 850 °C the ceramic exhibits excellent dielectric characteristics: ε r = 8.32, Q×f = 41,567 GHz. The as-prepared ceramic materials are promising candidates for low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) practical utilization.
