Protein Function: TL1A, also known as TNFSF15, is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It is specifically expressed in endothelial cells. TL1A also can be detected in monocytes, placenta, lung, liver, kidney, skeletal muscle, pancreas, spleen, prostate, small intestine and colon. TL1A is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF25 and decoy receptor TNFRSF21/DR6. It mediates activation of NF-kappa-B. It also inhibits vascular endothelial growth and angiogenesis (in vitro). TL1A promotes activation of caspases and apoptosis. It is also found to inhibit endothelial cell proliferation, and thus may function as an angiogenesis inhibitor.
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Recombinant Human TL1A/TNFSF15 Protein (rp170417) - SDS-PAGE 3 μg/lane of Recombinant Human TL1A/TNFSF15 Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing a band at 20.5 kDa under reducing conditions.
Recombinant Human TL1A/TNFSF15 Protein (rp170417) - Protein Bioactivity TF-1 cells were co-stimulated with 10 μg/mL CHX (C112766) and 200 ng/mL Recombinant Human TL1A/TNFSF15 Protein (rp170417) for 24 hours. Cells were then stained with Annexin V-FITC/PI Apoptosis Detection Kit (A266226) and analyzed by FACS.
