DUSP23 is a dual substrate specificity phosphatase that mediates dephosphorylation of proteins phosphorylated on Tyr and Ser/Thr residues. It is widely expressed and highly conserved. Most of dual-specificity protein phosphatases (DSPs) play an important role in the regulation of mitogenic signal transduction and controlling the cell cycle in response to extracellular stimuli. Reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) revealed that the DUSP23 was expressed in most fetal tissues and two adult tissues: testis and colon.

Recombinant Human DUSP23 Protein (rp188376) - SDS-PAGE 3 μg/lane of Recombinant Human DUSP23 Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing a band at 15.4 kDa under reducing conditions and 15.1 & 31.6 kDa under non-reducing conditions. Under specific non-physiological conditions, including high concentrations or particular buffer environments, DUSP23 monomers have the potential to form non-covalent dimers or higher-order oligomers through non-covalent interactions (Uniprot ID: Q9BVJ7).
