生化机理
EMC2 is an element of the ER membrane protein complex. EMC2 is a member of the EMC2 family and holds 3 TPR repeats.
Post-translational: Ubiquitinated when soluble in the cytoplasm, leading to its degradation by the proteasome (PubMed:33964204). Interaction with EMC2 prevents its ubiquitination and degradation (PubMed:33964204).
Store at -20℃ for 6 months. Upon receipt, it is recommended to aliquot. Avoid freeze/thaw cycle.

Recombinant Human EMC2 Protein (rp192080) - SDS-PAGE 3 μg/lane of Recombinant Human EMC2 Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing a band at 30.5 kDa under reducing conditions and 29.3 & 31.4 kDa under non-reducing conditions. There are two conformations in EMC2, which may be due to the presence of a more flexible region (PMID: 32459176).
