生化机理
Calcium-binding chaperone that promotes folding, oligomeric assembly and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. This lectin interacts transiently with almost all of the monoglucosylated glycoproteins that are synthesized in the ER (PubMed:7876246). Interacts with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 and mediates its nuclear export (PubMed:11149926). Involved in maternal gene expression regulation. May participate in oocyte maturation via the regulation of calcium homeostasis (By similarity). Present in the cortical granules of non-activated oocytes, is exocytosed during the cortical reaction in response to oocyte activation and might participate in the block to polyspermy (By similarity).

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute at 0.1 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20 °C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Recombinant Human Calreticulin Protein (rp214470) - SDS-PAGE 
3 μg/lane of Recombinant Human Calreticulin Protein was resolved with SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) and non-reducing (N) conditions and visualized by Coomassie® Blue staining, showing the bands at 54.0 & 59.6 kDa under reducing conditions and 54.3 & 59.6 & 114.7 kDa under non-reducing conditions. 
Under specific non-physiological conditions, including high concentrations or particular buffer environments, Calreticulin/CALR monomers have the potential to form non-covalent dimers or higher-order oligomers through non-covalent interactions (Uniprot ID: P27797).
