概述

超氧化物岐化酶（Superoxide Dismutase，SOD），一类含有金属微量元素的活性蛋白酶，广泛分布于各种生物体内，如动物、植物、微生物等，其主要成员有Cu, Zn-SOD、Mn-SOD 和Fe-SOD。SOD 具有特殊的生理活性，能够把有害的超氧阴离子自由基转化为过氧化氢，是生物体内清除氧自由基的首要物质。现已证实，由氧自由基引发的疾病多达60 多种，生物体内SOD 水平的高低成为生物体衰老与死亡的一个直观指标。SOD 可对抗、阻断超氧自由基对细胞造成的损害，并及时修复受损细胞，在生物抗氧化机制中的地位越来越重要，是中国卫生部批准的具有抗衰老、免疫调节、调节血脂、抗辐射、美容功能的物质之一。

本产品是以酵母粉、蛋白胨、葡萄糖等为原料，用含人类铜锌超氧化物歧化酶基因的工程菌经发酵、提纯的工艺生产的生物工程铜锌超氧化物歧化酶。

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) is a class of active enzymes containing trace metal elements, widely distributed in various organisms, including animals, plants, and microorganisms. Its main members include Cu,Zn‑SOD, Mn‑SOD, and Fe‑SOD. SOD possesses special physiological activity; it catalyzes the conversion of harmful superoxide anion radicals into hydrogen peroxide, and is the primary substance responsible for scavenging oxygen free radicals in living organisms. It has been confirmed that more than 60 diseases are triggered by oxygen free radicals, and the level of SOD in organisms serves as a direct indicator of aging and mortality. SOD can counteract and block the damage caused by superoxide radicals to cells, and promptly repair damaged cells, making its role in the biological antioxidant defense system increasingly important. It is one of the substances approved by the Ministry of Health of China for anti‑aging, immune regulation, blood lipid regulation, anti‑radiation, and cosmetic functions.

This product is a bioengineered Cu,Zn‑superoxide dismutase produced by fermentation and purification using engineered bacteria harboring the human copper‑zinc superoxide dismutase gene, with yeast extract, peptone, glucose, and other materials as raw materials.

The product specifications of 25 mg/100 mg/500 mg refer to the net mass of pure protein.

生化机理

Destroys radicals which are normally produced within the cells and which are toxic to biological systems.Catalyzes the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) to sulfate, playing an important role in detoxifying H2S and limiting the accumulation of reactive sulfur species (RSS) such as persulfides and polysulfidesuniprot function. Post-translational: Unlike wild-type protein, the pathogenic variants ALS1 Arg-38, Arg-47, Arg-86 and Ala-94 are polyubiquitinated by RNF19A leading to their proteasomal degradation. The pathogenic variants ALS1 Arg-86 and Ala-94 are ubiquitinated by MARCH5 leading to their proteasomal degradation.The ditryptophan cross-link at Trp-33 is responsible for the non-disulfide-linked homodimerization. Such modification might only occur in extreme conditions and additional experimental evidence is required.Palmitoylation helps nuclear targeting and decreases catalytic activity.Succinylation, adjacent to copper catalytic site, probably inhibits activity. Desuccinylation by SIRT5 enhances activity.
