概述
明胶(Gelatin)没有固定的结构和相对分子量，是以动物的皮、骨为主要原料，通过洗浸、水解、过滤、凝胶、粉碎等工序制成的一种粉末，是一种无色无味，无挥发性、透明坚硬的非晶体物质，可溶于热水，不溶于冷水，但可以缓慢吸水膨胀软化，明胶可吸收相当于重量 5-10 倍的水。明胶的主要组成为氨基酸以及组成相同而分子量分布很宽的多肽分子混合物，被广泛应用于食品、医药及化工产业。
明胶水溶液 (1%,无菌) 由高纯度明胶、去离子水组成，经过无菌处理，在室温下多呈淡黄色粘稠液体或胶冻状，加热后溶解后方可使用，常被用作是粘附剂和添加剂等。

Gelatin has no fixed structure or relative molecular weight. It is a powdery substance mainly made from animal skin and bones via washing, soaking, hydrolysis, filtration, gelation and crushing processes. It is a colorless, odorless, non-volatile, transparent and hard amorphous solid. It dissolves in hot water but is insoluble in cold water, and can slowly absorb water to swell and soften, absorbing water 5 to 10 times its own weight. Gelatin is mainly composed of amino acids and polypeptide mixtures with identical compositions and wide molecular weight distribution, widely applied in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Gelatin Aqueous Solution (1%, Sterile) is mainly composed of high-purity gelatin and deionized water, and has undergone sterile treatment. It appears pale yellow viscous liquid or jelly at room temperature and shall be heated to dissolve before use, commonly used as adhesive and additive.
