It is a component of the cellulase system and catalyzes the release of cellobiose and glucose from the non-reducing ends of polysaccharide chains. Determination Principle: The content of reducing sugars produced by the degradation of microcrystalline cellulose catalyzed by C1 is determined using the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid method.
