Product Introduction

2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine is a stable but highly active peptide coupling agent. It has been reported as an effective coupling reagent for peptide purification. The amidation of 2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine has been reported. A method for the preparation of multi kilogram 2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine has been reported.


Application

2-chloro-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine can be used in the following studies

· specific labeling of streptavidin by moal.

· bis (4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl) ether was prepared by reaction with 2-hydroxy-4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazine-2-yl) ether.

Preparation of 2 - (4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazinyl) trialkylammonium salt by reaction with various tertiary amines.

4 - (4,6-dimethoxy-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl) - 4-methylmorpholine chloride was synthesized by coupling with N-Methylmorpholine in tetrahydrofuran.

A stable and highly reactive peptide coupling agent.
