Protein Function
CD2 interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-3) and CD48/BCM1 to mediate adhesion between T-cells and other cell types. CD2 is implicated in the triggering of T-cells, the cytoplasmic domain is implicated in the signaling function.

IF analysis of Recombinant CD2 Antibody (Ab094160) in Jurkat cells. The cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 minutes, permeabilized in 0.2% Triton X-100 for 5 minutes and then blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant CD2 Antibody (Ab094160) at 1/200 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF488) (Ab181954) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (green). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
