Protein Function
Binds to and inhibits the transcriptional repressor ZBTB33, which may lead to activation of target genes of the Wnt signaling pathway (By similarity). May associate with and regulate the cell adhesion properties of both C- and E-cadherins. Implicated both in cell transformation by SRC and in ligand-induced receptor signaling through the EGF, PDGF, CSF-1 and ERBB2 receptors. Promotes GLIS2 C-terminal cleavage.

The cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.3% Triton X-100 (I743383) for 10 minutes and then blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant delta 1 Catenin/CAS Antibody (Ab099575) at 1/200 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF488) (Ab181954) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (green). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
