Recombinant STAT4 Antibody (Ab129436) - Western Blot All lanes: Recombinant STAT4 Antibody (Ab129436) at 1/1000 dilution Samples: Lysates at 20 µg per lane Secondary: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Ab170144) at 1/20000 dilution Predicted band size: 86 kDa Observed band size: 48, 86 kDa STATs are cytosolic proteins with a common structure consisting of an N-terminal oligomerization domain, which favors formation of STAT dimers, followed by a DNA-binding domain and a C-terminal SRC homology-2 (SH2) domain, which is involved in association between STATs and receptors (PMID:22383755). The DNA-binding domain can bind to DNA which affects its migration in Western blot experiments. Exposure time: 86.5 s
Recombinant STAT4 Antibody (Ab129436) - IF/ICC IF analysis of Recombinant STAT4 Antibody (Ab129436) in HeLa cells. The cells were fixed and permeabilized with 100% methanol for 5 minutes, and blocked with 5% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Cells were stained with Recombinant STAT4 Antibody (Ab129436) at 1/200 dilution in blocking buffer overnight at 4°C, and then incubated with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AF488) (Ab181954) at a dilution of 1/1000 for 1 hour at room temperature in the dark (green). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
