Product Describtion:

Catalase is a hemoprotein containing four subunits which decomposes peroxide. To remove thymol from Product C128522, measure desired amount of mixed suspension, centrifuge to collect enzyme crystals, remove supernatant. Resuspend crystals in one-half initial volume of water, respin. Discard wash supernatant and dissolve crystals in buffer of choice.Supplied as an aqueous solution of 2X crystallized catalase filtered through a 0.22 micron pore size membrane. Minimum of 30,000 units/ml.

Product Application:
Catalase is used to eliminate H2O2 from enzymatic oxidation reactions.
