概述
Carnoy 固定液Ⅱ又称卡诺氏固定液，主要由乙醇、乙酸等混合而成，不含氯仿。特别适用于一般组织和细胞的固定，有极快的渗透能力，固定最多不超过 24h。其特点是能迅速穿透细胞，将其固定并维持染色体结构的完整性，还能够增强染色体的嗜碱性，达到优良的染色效果。组织固定后暂时不用的话，可置于 70%的乙醇中保存。
保存：10~30℃，避光，12 个月。
使用方法
1、一般小块组织固定 30～40min。
2、稍大块组织 2～4h。
3、如果组织块大，可适当延长固定时间，但不宜超过 24h。
注意事项
1、Carnoy 固定液对人体有一定的损害，请小心操作。不宜用于固定脂类染色的组织。
2、组织取材的厚度不同，固定时间也不同。
3、温度对固定的影响很明显，提高温度可以加速固定作用，但温度不宜过高。
4、取出新鲜组织后，应及时固定，无法及时固定时，应保存于生理盐水中及时送检。

Carnoy Fixative Ⅱ, also known as Carnoy fixative, is mainly composed of ethanol, acetic acid and other components, and contains no chloroform. It is especially suitable for fixation of general tissues and cells with extremely rapid penetration capacity, and the fixation duration shall not exceed 24 h. It can quickly penetrate cells for fixation and maintain the integrity of chromosomal structure. It can also enhance the basophilia of chromosomes to achieve excellent staining results. If the fixed tissue is not for immediate use, it can be stored in 70% ethanol.
Storage: Store at 10–30 °C, protected from light; valid for 12 months.
Instructions for Use
1. Fixation of small tissue blocks: 30–40 min.
2. Larger tissue blocks: 2–4 h.
3. For bulky tissue samples, fixation time may be extended appropriately, but it should not exceed 24 h.
Precautions
1. Carnoy Fixative Ⅱ is potentially harmful to the human body. Handle with care. It is not suitable for fixation of tissues intended for lipid staining.
2. Fixation time varies with the thickness of harvested tissue.
3. Temperature has a marked effect on fixation. Elevated temperature accelerates fixation, but excessive temperature should be avoided.
4. Fresh tissue should be fixed immediately after sampling. If immediate fixation is unavailable, store the tissue in normal saline and submit for testing promptly.
5. For your safety and health, wear a lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
