It is mainly used in membrane research.Tween 20 is used for:solubilizing membrane proteins during isolation of membrane-protein complexes.a subsequent protein detection by UV light absorption, due to its low UV absorbance.ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) and immunoblots.
