应用
1. 载细胞多分析平台（MAP）的冷冻保存；
2. 作为大分子簇以研究其对异硫氰酸荧光素（FITC）共轭的I型胶原蛋白的作用；
3. 作为表面活性剂配方中的模型表面活性剂以评估界面应张力作用下抗体的界面聚集。
Usually used to modify therapeutic proteins and peptides to increase their solubility and lower their toxicity.
Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), a linear polyether of ethylene glycol (ethane-1,2-diol), is soluble in water, benzene, ethanol, acetonitrile, and dichloromethane. However, it is insoluble in diethyl ether and hexane. This non-ionic polymer can exist in the monomer and aqueous phases.

1. in cryopreservation of cell-laden multi-assay platforms (MAPs)；
2. as a macromolecular crowder to study its effects on fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-conjugated type-I collagen；
3. as a model surfactant in surfactant formulations to evaluate the interfacial aggregation of antibody formulations in response to interfacial stress.
